Methodology
Chemiluminescent Immunoassay for qualitative detection of total anitbodies (IgG and IgM) to Treponema pallidum
Assay is designed to utilize recombinant Treponemal antigens (TpN17, TpN47and TpN15) for early and accurate detection of total antibodies.
Specimen Requirements
Submit only 1 of the following specimens:
Preferred:
Serum Gel Tube
Container/Tube: Serum gel tube(s)
Specimen Volume: 1 mL (minimum volume: 0.25 mL) of serum
Lipemic, icteric, or contaminated specimen is not acceptable.
Collection Instructions: Spin down within 2 hours of draw.
