Light Microscopy
Post vasectomy semen samples are examined for the presence of sperm to evaluate the efficacy of the surgical procedure.
Specimen Requirements
Specimen must arrive within 2 hours of collection.

Collection Instructions:
- Collect specimen following a 2 to 3 day period of sexual abstinence.
- Do not refrigerate.
- Keep specimen as close to 37° C / 98.6 ° F (body temperature) as possible during transport.
- Deliver directly to laboratory.
