SPERMALITETM/SQA-V Gold with Light Microscopy
- Includes volume, appearance, liquefaction, viscosity, pH, WBC count, cells observed, motility, morphology, total sperm count, and progressively motile sperm count.
- Performed as part of a comprehensive infertility investigation or as a follow-up to a vasovasostomy.
Specimen Requirements
Specimen must arrive within 30 minutes of collection.
Container/Tube: Sterile container(s), #6004913 or Seminal Fluid Collection Kit
Specimen Volume: Total ejaculate
Collection Instructions:
- Collect specimen following a 2 to 7 day period of sexual abstinence.
- Do not refrigerate.
- Keep specimen as close to 37° C (body temperature) as possible during transport.
- Deliver directly to laboratory.
