Methodology
Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA)/Flow Cytometry/Immunoassay/Indirect ImmunofluorescenceIncludes anti-CCP (cyclic citrullinated peptide antibodies), anti-parvovirus antibody IgG and IgM, antinuclear antibody (ANA), HLA-B27, HCV (hepatitis C antibody), Lyme (enzyme immunoassay [EIA]) reflexive to Western blot (WB).
Useful for aiding in the diagnosis of arthritis when the rheumatoid factor is negative.
Specimen Requirements
Serum and whole blood are required.
