Methodology
Multiplex Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) and Fragment AnalysisSpecimen Requirements
Submit only 1 of the following specimens:
Specimen Type: Formalin-fixed paraffin embedded (FFPE) tissue block-Tumor and normal tissue are required.
Container/Tube: FFPE of representative tumor tissue and representative normal colonic mucosa
Specimen Volume: One tissue block with representative tumor tissue and 1 tissue block with representative normal colonic mucosa
Alternate (if normal colonic tissue is unavailable):
Specimen Type: Peripheral whole blood
Container/Tube: Lavender-top (EDTA) tube
Specimen Volume: 1 mL (minimum volume: 0.5 mL)
