Methodology
Turbidimetric Inhibition Immunoassay
Useful for monitoring drug therapy.
Specimen Requirements
Submit only 1 of the following specimens:
Preferred:
Serum
Serum Gel Tube
Container/Tube: Serum gel tube(s)
Specimen Volume: 2 mL (minimum volume: 1
mL) of serum
Collection Instructions: Draw blood 30 minutes after completion of a 30 minute intravenous infusion, 15 minutes after completion of a 60 minute intravenous infusion, or 60 minutes post an intramuscular injection. Spin down as soon as possible after draw.
Note:
1. Date and time of last dose and time of draw are required.
2. Label specimen appropriately (serum).
Alternate:
Serum
Plain, Red-Top Tube
Container/Tube: Plain, red-top tube(s)
Specimen Volume: 2 mL (minimum volume: 1
