Specimen Requirements
Container/Tube: Plastic container
Specimen Volume: 5 g (approximately 1 tablespoon) (minimum volume: 2 g [approximately 1 teaspoon]) of meconium
Collection Instructions: Recommend collection of entire passage of meconium until milk stool appears.
