Specimen Requirements

Specimen must arrive within 24 hours of draw.

Container/Tube: Lavender-top (EDTA) tube(s) with Hemogard^TM lid

Specimen Volume: 3.5 mL of whole blood, (1mL minimum)

Collection Instructions:

Invert tube(s) several times to mix blood.
Do not centrifuge.
Forward promptly in original tube(s).
Must be clearly labeled as CORD BLOOD.
