Methodology

Colorimetric

Useful in the diagnosis and monitoring of a wide range of disorders including disorders of protein and vitamin D; and diseases of bone, kidney, parathyroid gland, or gastrointestinal tract.

Specimen Requirements

Submit only 1 of the following specimens:

Serum Gel Tube

Container/Tube: Serum gel tube(s)
Specimen Volume: 1 mL (minimum volume: 0.5 mL) of serum

Collection Instructions: Keep specimen tightly capped. Spin down within 4 hours of draw.
